Navigating the designer

Once you’ve accessed the widget designer tool then navigating it is easy.

Top Bar

Across the top is a black bar with the following functions:

Logo – Click the logo to return to your account area if logged in or the homepage if not logged in.

Design/property/imports tabs – Toggle between the design elements, properties and imports.

‘Currently Editing’ dropdown – If you are a paid user and have more than one site/widget, use this dropdown to quickly switch between widgets.

Docs –  A quick link to access this documentation.

Embed code – Access the widget embed code you can copy and drop into your site.

Publish – Save any changes.

Sidebar

On the left you’ll see an accordion broken nicely down into various sections. Simply click to expand the section you want to edit and you’ll see the relevant options. Want to change the search form background colour? Expand the ‘Search Form’ section. Want to change the fields shown in the full details modal? Expand the ‘Full Details’ section.

Preview Pane

The big panel on the right is where you can see a live preview of how your widget will look when embedded onto your website. As you change settings in the left sidebar these will be instantly reflected in the preview pane.
